Hello and welcome to Spirit: the RPG, a semi-realistic wild horse roleplay loosely based around the film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. The RPG is based years after Spirit himself left the Cimarron, and the land is now seperated into three different alliances, Light, Dark and Neutral. Our community is a very friendly and welcoming one, and we hope you join so we can roleplay with you!
Fall is here! The leaves are changing and the world is becoming hued with red, yellow and orange. The rain has started to fall, but only softly this time, with light showers and sprinkles that leave gems of water in the rainbow of coats that make up the cimarron.

Light Royals This is where the light royals reside.
Battleground (1 sub-board) Here is where horses fight, for a great many reasons such as land, other horses and beliefs. And occasionally just for the sake of fighting. It is set nearby the Royals' land so that Adoni can judge the two fighters and determine a winner. The earth here is flat, with harsh gravel underneath your hooves and no obstacle to get in your way but the rocky hills surrounding you. Fight well, but not neccessarily, fair.
Barraimal Clearing (1 sub-board) Here is where horses can come in search of a home or a mate. Many a lonely horse has found love within its friendly boundaries. All factions meet here without too much rivalry. Moderators: ♥(Shortcake)♥, Flan!, Ranger

Lake Verity Lake Verity is a large, crystal clear lake that is a good source of water during the drier months and for those that can swim. Beware foals, as this lake is very deep and very cold. Moderators: Ranger, Flan!
Nepelle Plain The site where the Nepelle River now runs used to be a large lake, but has been reduced over the years to a dry marsh, bare of any vegetation but the sparse grasses that clutch to the earth along the rivers side. The river runs straight through the bare plain, and is the meeting place for horses of any faction, and any gender. The dry marsh stretches a long way, touching the base of the mountains at one end and reaching to Barraimal clearing on the other. Moderator: Ranger
Claiming Forest This is a smaller set forest that seperates the apple tree from the lands beyond. Femmoras can come here to see if a stallion will take them in or if they stumble by acident. Just remember mares, first stallion to reply to your post your stuck with, only if the stallion kicks you out can you leave. So if you get claimed by the wrong stallion, tough!

Alingah Mountains Alingah Mountains are beautiful. The sun floods the herdland every morning and bathes it in red every night. Vegetation is plentiful and the herd graze in peace. Under the watchful eye of Largo.

Riverbed Flats Four flat "step like" features move down, they are long, and the drop is only about a foot. The first flat is filled with trees, Three Oaks in the back, to the left a large willow the size of the three Oaks, and on the right Two Maple's that take up the same space as the Willow. This step has lush green grass that's perfect for grazing, and the earth is nice and moist. It's very shady. On the next step down the earth is always hit by the sun, the ground is powdery and dirt. This is where the horses can roll to keep cool in the day, there isn't much grass here but very little. On the third and final step is mud, it's all marshy and a horse can easily get their hooves stuck in the muck, there is a river that runs through the middle of this last flat land that causes this marsh, it's a great drinking source even if it isn't the clearest of water.
Salvaje Beach A place of many wonders, Salvaje Beach is a beautiful area located right next to the ocean. Sea breezes wander through constantly, and though this terra is constantly awash with mist in the early mornings and in the evenings, it is often warm and pleasurable. The horses here spend their days relaxing on the beaches soft white sands. But be warned, Salvaje can be hit with the wildest of ocean storms at times.

Eloura Valley Like a sanctuary for equines to go to. A nice valley with a forest, rivers, and plains, as well as a meadow, where the lead tends to keep his herd at night, to be able to see all. There are a few hills here and there, though the main obvious thing to see is the mountain ranges, which are on both sides of the land, high above. It does occasionally still snow down below, but it's nice, and none of it is real harsh blizzards or the like, those are quite rare. Forest Plains Thin path made through the lush forest,the dirt trail has been worn.Plants would tug at your sides as you move further in.Vines lace over to the sides forming the entrance to the open Meadows.The lush green blades of grass grow around.Then sun streams around the turf.Miles beyond mountains grow from the ground with the cool powdered snow on there peeks.A round hills was formed in the middle of the land supposedly formed by others running in circles around the lead stag.Either way it makes a nice look out for him.
Faire Rainforest The Faire Rainforest is a humid place, filled with insects, birds and other wildlife. Its a tangled place, with undergrowth and vines everywhere. It rains almost everyday, but to some the rain is relief from the heat. The horses whom live within the rainforests depths are quiet and secretive, but are completely loyal to their king and come out in times of need.

The Labyrinth Marshes The Labyrinth Marshes are dangerous. They are full of innocent looking green bogs that suck you down, some are only ankle deep but others have been known to suck down full horses, who are never seen again. The marshes have large, eerie willow trees that droop stealthily down over the deepest bogs, urging you to seek refuge in their branches. Their branches seem to reach out to you when you pass by, almost seeming alive. There is a thick fog at the Marshes all year round, and it hides the bogs from sight, making it dangerous to attempt passage unless you test the ground before you walk onto it, and even then it can be deceiving. The only bare patch in the Marshes is a large, circular hill of compressed earth, it is held high above the marsh, this is where Arrakis reigns his kingdom from. On the hill, a small section has a glade which includes luscious grass, only Arrakis and his most loyal or highly regarded mares graze here, it is a great honour if offered to graze there. Only Arrakis knows all the secrets of the Marshes. If you ever intrude he seems to know about it immediately, almost as if the marsh itself tells him. He can travel over the marsh as if it were bare ground, he never flounders into the bogs, never gets trapped in the willow leaves, never gets deceived by the fog. If you ever travel into the Marshes depths...well, pray that Arrakis has mercy on you, for the Marshes like taking victims, if Arrakis wants to punish you, he lets you loose into the most dangerous part of the marsh, and then he leaves you to find your way out...nobody has yet

Omaroo Flats The bare lands are well named for their bland state. Most of the land is a whitish color in the summer as the many moon flowers that hang around there. Though some of the terra was burned in a massive wild fire causing a black side to it. The land is tough in places and soft in others and has a small river that cuts like a black snake through the middle of it.
Bekran Desert The Bekran Desert is one of the harshest terrains you'll come across, there is one water supply, hidden within the desert, where the herd generally resides. They gaurd this water source fiercely, and even if you stumble across it when you're trapped within the desert, chances are they'll fight you for the right to drink from it. Only the lead can travel through the whole desert without dying of thirst, snake bite or dehydration. Its a secret that can only be grasped by a true connection with the land.

Army Stables The Army stables is all that is said. The army works behind these massive walls to prepare war on the indians. Many horses are caught, forced into the pens and either broke, bred, or shot depending 'pon how the horse behaves. Do you have what it takes to be an army horse? USA Ranch (1 sub-board) USA ranch is a terrible place. It is even worse than Army Stables. Here you are brutaly torchered when you are disobendent. Men here don't care for you. Ranchers Canyon Here is a dark yawning canyon. This is where many humans lurk behind every bolder and every bush waiting for an unsuspecting horse to show. All horses have to travel through at one time and once your caught your caught unless your released or something goes wrong. Tread lightly horse, you may be next......
Seperation Stud The Seperation Stud is a large run of land owned and operated by Justin Welling, a young man at the age of twenty three. The studs 200 acre block is all cleared and fenced, though of course with the occasional patch of tree's for shade and wind breaks. There is a large stable and breaking arena right next to a modest bungalow, where Justin resides.
