Moon was glad for the moments they had together. It had been so long and tension had always been between them when Star had showed up. But now that it was just him and Sunny everything was finally working out and Sunny hopefully now knew that he would always love her the most more than anyone else. No one would ever have his heart like she had his.

He laughed when she bucked and nipped at him. Then he arched his neck and pranced about showing off for the fun of it springing in the air on his thick yet majestic legs. The black stallion was acting more like a colt but he just didn't care.

Eclipse looked at the worried colt and smiled. She needed to correct herself. Pardon me. I'm so used to speaking about Moon I momentarily forgot. No I am not a friend of your biological father. If he knows what's best for him he won't show his face. What he did to your sister and grandmother was horrible and inexcusable. He also hurt your mother. No, Moon your adoptive father is my friend. As for your mother she and Moon are having some alone time right now. But they'll be back shortly do not worry. Moon loves you and your mother with all his heart. He grew up with your mom and has always loved her. she said softly and her voice was full of comfort for the young foal.

The bay stallion trotted over to Eclipse and the foal. He smiled and nuzzled her.

"So...I do hope you're not trying to explain the facts of life to Warren, hmmm Silv? That could be a tad awkward." It was in a whisper and he chuckled. He knew exactly what Sunny and Moonlight were doing. A sad feeling came over him. As of yet, he had no foal of his own and it made him feel melancholy to think of it. He whispered to her,

"If you're willing, I want to try again. I feel a need for my own little one." He smiled and nuzzled her gently before raising his tone to a normal level.

"I haven't seen my lead mare around lately. I don't know what happened to her. Perhaps she found another stallion. However, you've come back, Silv. Maybe you could be my lead mare again? If you wish." Largo bent down to the colt's level.

"Hey tough guy. Warren isn't it? I'm Largo, the lead stallion of this herd. If you don't mind, I'd like to be friends with you. How old are you now?" He chuckled and smiled at the colt.

Silver looked up as she caught the sound of hooves. She knew before even looking who it was. She knew way before anyone else would. Her senses were tuned to Largo's steps, his breathing, his very scent. A small chuckle escaped and she playfully nipped at him.

No, that is not my place. That would definitely be Sunny's. Now if he was older and still hadn't been told and was misbehaving in inappropriate ways then I'd have to intervene but I was merely explaining that we're his friends as well as his mother's. she looked at Largo with longing. Why did that storm have to hit? They had lost so much. She didn't care so much that she had lost her lead position but she still envied the lead mare.

Ears pricked at Largo's words about speaking of trying again and becoming lead mare. Adrenaline coursed through her body and senses that she thought long dead were returning immediately. She nodded. Once Moon and Sunny are back. I would love to be your lead and this time things will be different. I won't leave again. she stated firmly. No way was she going to lose him again. Let alone another foal.

Moon looked over at Sunny and trotted to her side and gently nuzzled her. I do believe we have left Warren with Eclipse for quite some time. Are you ready to go back down? he asked adoringly.
