``RULES
-Note, these rules belong to a sister site, Hoofbeat.
How it works
Each of you need to post in character here on the challenge board. Your challenge will then be judged by Adoni, as follows:
Judging
Base 50 points: Roleplay
Each of you need to post FIVE (yes, five) times in character, in which at least three posts need to be actual fighting. You are allowed only one hit per post. Each post will be judged on a scale from 1-10, grading on creativity, style, etc.
30 points: Luck of the die
A dice is rolled for each stallion 5 times: a possible of 30 total points. These points are completely random, giving anyone an opportunity to win.
25 points: Herd status
As an extra boost, the stallion can gain or lose additional points:
+10 if the stallion has been actively posting for over a month
+5 if the stallion has at least two mares in his herd
+10 if the stallion has at least three mares in his herd.
+5 if the stallion has a beta stallion
-5 for noticeable bad spelling/grammar
-10 for powerplaying or any unfair plays
If either stallion does not respond to the challenge within 3 days of the last post, he automatically loses.
Rules
* Post your challenges in the herd land of the stallion your challenging AND start a post for them to respond to in the Battleground.
* Each stallion can only be challenged once every two weeks. No picking on the wounded stallion who just fought.
* You can only have one challenge going at a time
* If you wish to battle for a living, breathing horse the person who plays that horse must first consent to it and must be ok with winding up in either herd. If s/he's not, no battle.(Ideally situations like this should be discussed OOC and played out by the players on thier own. Mod's shouldn't have to judge character driven storyline's like this)
* There is a 3 day minimum response time for ALL parties involved in a battle. After those three days, if you have not responded, you forfeit by default. If the player posted that s/he would be away in the away board, it is three days from their estimated date of return.
* To make it easier for the judges, No one except those battling will be allowed to post during the battle. However, you may post afterwords once the judges have posted the results.
* No OOC posts during a battle. You may add OOC comments in your battling post, but no posts that are only OOC. This also makes it easier for the judges.
