the fourteen point three hand mare moved quietly through the land to get to the large crystal clear lake named verity. it was rumored to be the best place to be during the summer. the rahkai mare moved with a fluid grace that could only be passed down through blood. her lineage was a mixture of both the agile, fast thoroughbred and the graceful, quick spanish mustang.
the summer sun struck down on her black pelt with it's white skeletal markings. she was unique in multiple ways. in personality and appearance, she felt that she was one of a kind. the five year old's violet eyes remained hidden under the thick, silky black forelock. the mare smiled darkly as she came across the water.
it was said to be ice cold and deep and bone figured she could compare herself to it. she was cold-hearted but had more then just the omnious exterior. she had a deep soul that would take a lifetime to figure out. she came to a stop before the water and flicked the ebony tail that was about six inches above the ground.
bone garden sighed and her violet eyes danced in subtle curiousity under the flap of black. perhaps she'd meet some enemies here.

Take my hand, show me the way, we are the children that fell from grace. Take my hand, show me the way, we are the children who can’t be saved.
--- He watched her silently from the surrounding woodland, his eyes, so similar to his fathers, analyzing and judging, seeing just how far the perfection stretched. She was a beauty, that was true. But there was something... off.. about her that really but Xavier on edge.. and he loved it. With a grin, the white-faced trickster moved down the small slope, his patchwork body muscular and sleek, beautiful in its own way.
He said nothing, but approached with the devil in his eyes, still examining the strange mare. He looked so like his sire, with his cunning eyes and arrogant demeanor - even the way he moved reflected his parentage. The muscles in his stocky body bunched as he pranced, mane flicking this way and that. "hey gorgeous" Xaviers voice was rough, baritone - the voice of a stallion whom had fully grown into himself and was ready to take what he wanted.
Indeed, the ideology he had grown up with was that you take what you want, without caring if that "thing" wanted to go with you. Arrakis certainly had not waited for approval before stealing his mares, and neither would Xavier.
ooc; aaahh terrible >.< I was thinking maybe she has heard of arrakis and either only goes with xavier because she wants to be with the rahkai king (arrakis)? Or she just wants the smexy xavier, up to you xD

it was hard for one to sneak up on. it wasn't because they moved with such obvious noise but it was because of how quiet bone garden always was. the silence allowed her to know who was here and where. her satin jet ears trembled slightly. she was sure someone was lurking in the forest but she couldn't figure out where.
glancing over a white shoulder blade, she spotted him. he was a muscular, young paint. his grin was wicked as were his eyes. she could practically feel the ego pumping from him. she swished her tail in indifference. the stallion had yet to impress her. she turned her face away, blue eyes hidden under a thick black forelock. she focused back on the water and stayed exactly where she was.
chances were the stallion was just here for water.
his rough voice sounded and she flicked a ear in his direction. bone garden. not gorgeous she introduced before turning to him. she bounced her head so she could get a better look at him. she also refused to be flattered by the simple word. stallions greeted mares like that every day; bone garden was a mare, therefore he called her gorgeous just to have a chance of taking her.
yes. there was certainly arrogance on this painted stallion. he looked like he knew what he was doing and probably assumed bone would be an easy catch.
he was wrong.
the exoskeleton mare's blue gaze met his. she was an exotic mare, something she failed to see. her base canvas was blacker than the night sky. the white markings were a lovey ivory and resembled a skeleton. it was a thanks to her father. he was also the reason why her self esteem was lower than low. she just failed to show that to others.
notes; i think she'll just go with xavier x] maybe he makes her feel a little bit better about herself?

She truly was a lovely specimen - exotic, which pleased Xavier immensely. To have such a jewel in a herd would make it known, he would be able to show off this pretty thing as he paraded throughout the land - stallions would want her, and mares would want to be her. This, he liked. And she had attitude. Bone Garden.. an interesting name, one that, obviously, suited her. The skeletal markings upon her hide drew Xaviers eyes and made them sparkle with interest and desire - yes, he wanted her.
"Bone Garden.. how.. delightful" he grinned, dark eyes bright within his white face. "I am Xavier" he left it at that - not being one for words. He moved closer, noticing that she stood so still and silent that it could have unnerved other beasts, but Xavier, being too bold and reckless to be bothered by such a thing, found it intriguing. He puffed his chest out and raised his head, knowing he was handsome - perhaps not as exotic as she, but handsome all the same. A fine mate for any mare, or so he thought.
"You're quite the charmer aren't you." His grin faded a little, becoming less masochistic and more pleasant. He may have been an arrogant pig at times, but he knew someone special when he saw them - and Bone Garden was special, he just didn't know how special yet.
